Possible PCOS symptoms, advice needed please

I am hoping someone here may be able to provide me with some advice. I came off the contraceptive pill in July 2017. I have not yet had a period, I know it can take a while to come back however I am also experiencing other problems. I have had a low sex drive for many years now but since I came off the pill it has rocketed. I have always had problems with facial hair, especially on my upper lip but it has now got worse and spread to under my bottom lip and chin. I have never had acne problems but now have constant cystic acne on my chin and upper lip. My hair again, has always been thin but it seems so thin and lank now, I cant do anything with it. I struggle keeping weight off a little but I am not over weight, I am 10 stone 2 and 5ft 2, size 12. Does anyone have any guidance, does it sound like I should be visiting my doctor? And advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

For me if you feel anything is wrong then you should consult you gp. There is no one in this world that knows your body like you. Us women are normally very intuitive.

7 years ago I was having very bad irregular bleeding but was told by gp I was too young for anything to be done. I then last year was referred to gynae. Who discharged me and told me I was clear of cancer pcos ect. I still knew something was wrong and pushed to be retested and I have now got a diagnosis. I have pcos and both of my ovaries are fully covered in cysts. But finally they have put me on medication to make my period regular and I can go back to living a normal life.... Long winded story but moral is if you feel it in your gut. You're probably right.

Hi, I feel your pain hun, I’ve been a sufferer since I was 16 I’m now 26 I went into early puberty at 8 and ever since I’ve had dodgy periods after being diagnosed I started getting hairs on my chin and on my upper lip I started to tweeezer it but it was growing fast I always now get it waxed every month sometimes twice a month it’s horrible I feel minging knowing it’s there and so self conscious. My mum also had it and apparently there’s not much u can do my mum got hers taking away but that was after she had kids as the doctors can refer you get Medication to get rid but can make u infertile. It’s horrible and some days I feel like I’m not normal not many of my friends understand and it’s difficult to get out my frustration. Obv I will probs find it hard to get pregnant I tend to get periods when I lose weight so I’m now mostly at the gym trying to help and see if it works.
