Possible weird general anxiety disorder symptoms ?

hi!

Within the past seven months i've been through an apartment fire giving me PTSD. Then 48hrs in the hospital due to bad reaction/possible long panic attack from and anti anxiety medication. Since then i've been also told i have general anxiety disorder. i now realise i'm afraid when things go wrong i think the absolute worst in those situations. a month and a half ago i had an old cartilage piercing become infected, it healed but left my lymph nodes swollen. i had those checked multiple times and by an ENT and they are fine but i'm still so anxious due to the fact that all of a sudden my veins seem to be sticking out more and a few burn on my feet. along with my chest getting splochy when anxious but has stayed feeling burning even when calmed down and is alittle red. i have it convinced in my head i have some horrible infection still because these things are happening. Has anyone has any weird vein or prolonged burning skin rash type feelings?

The burning skin feeling can possibly be due to anxiety and stress. if you had any kind of infection you would most likely have a fever and be very lethargic. your veins are not going to indicate the presence of an infection or anything else. if your doctor says you are OK, you can work on anxiety management by speaking with a counselor. that could help you put things into perspective and ease your mind. Take care
