Possibly cure/relief

Hello I don't have RLS but my father suffers from it.

He has figured he has accidentally found a cure... that at least worked for him!

He was having a hot bath, trying to keep his mind off an episode when the bottom of his feet got incredibly itchy. He had 'head and shoulders' shampoo on his hands from washing his hair and when he began to scratch the bottoms of his feet, it got soo itchy he was close to drawing blood and had to stop himself... instead he massaged his feet, massaging the shampoo into the entire undersides of his feet. Rather than rinse the shampoo off immediately, he let them dry for 30 seconds before rinsing off with cold water.

He says that the RLS stopped after that and this process has become a ritual. Also he mentioned and I don't know if it's relative but a grey gunk came under his finger nails from scratching the bottoms of his feet with the shampoo.

It worked for him and he wanted me to post in the chance that it might help someone else.
