Post ablation recovery

My mum had ablation 2 weeks ago  after being in A FIB for 6 months and unable to do much due to breathlessness. Her heart rate is now steady, the doctor has set her pacemaker at 91 ( it was 60) she is still not well though, breathless and anxious. We are thinking that 6 months of inactivity is one of the reasons it taking her longer to recover...she is 81

when I had mine I was also quite breathless and the doctor said I had got either fluid in the lung or an infection as the operation took quite a while. had anti biotics and also water tablets for either cause and now on the mend. have started dancing again and doing a little bit more each day.  am sure if your Mum can do little bits each day then she will start to feel better but maybe get her lungs checked in case she too, has fluid or something
