Post ankle fusion

Two weeks post ankle fushio/drop foot repair. 1st week ok minimal pain. 2nd week awful. Feel like I'm in the fun house with electric shocks coming from all over foot. Also burning. Please let me know this is ok and will get better. Thanks alot

    I hope you feel better soon. I’m supposed to have this surgery in January. I’m told I’ll have no pain. It’s scary. Go back to the doctor.

    Different ankle surgery here, but burning and high pain super normal. Yes it felt like fire at times, a ping here and there, nerves firing up. Hope you have pain meds, but yes it improves with time. Hang in there.

    10 weeks post op and yes, the pain and burning sensation are normal. It’s your nerves healing and being activated...I used to experience it more during the night.
