Go see your surgeon. He or she will take xrays for you to narrow down what is going on. Good luck! Seems that once you have surgery its never the same , no matter what they say to you!

Wow, that sounds so rough. But I'm impressed too, two miles! I'm 6 1/2 weeks post ORIF and think "Wow, I walked almost 1,000 steps today..." when before my accident I was usually getting 10,000 at least.

So, pain: ice and pain killers. I hope you feel better soon. With Covid, I suppose swimming is not an option.

    re: weight

Almost 3 years ago I was about 100 kg. I found a really supportive reddit forum called "loseit", mostly people do calorie counting. The common wisdom there is that "you can't out run your fork". In about two and a half years, I lost about 24 kg. Mostly by counting to have a consistent deficit. I still wanted to lose 10 more, but then my accident...

Since then, I have just tried to be careful.

So, maybe visit the reddit forum? Try not to despair, we can make progress!!
