Hi, I am two days past 3 weeks post op. I have two screws in my toe. I am walking without th surgical shoe most the time but do have to limpe as well. I recognize that you are several weeks ahead of me me but I sure hope I am not limping at 3 months. I am limping because it is still too tender to put full weight on the foot but if I walk really slow, I can almost do it without a limp. I would suggest you see your doctor. It sure wouldn't hurt!

Hi mrs chatty. I had my surgery 7 years ago and I remember walking with a limp because of big toe stiffness for quite a while after surgery. I also developed a sore ankle and I sometimes got cramp in my calf. I think some of that was due to loss of muscle tone whilst sitting or lying around waiting for up to 8 weeks, waiting for the bone to heal. It didn't last and all cleared up over time as I got stronger. I was left with some big toe stiffness but it's only a minor issue.
