Post Bunionectomy

Need opinions! I can’t find anything online regarding what I’m concerned about. I had bunion surgery 4 years ago. Just a pin and staple was left in. There was obviously loss of motion and nerve damage. Totally normal. But the past couple of weeks it’s become a little painful to touch (other than the tingling from the nerve damage) and almost itchy inside. I might be able to feel a bump I couldn’t before? Could it be the pin? I don’t have experience with post surgery other than this. Any one have anything similar and what was it?

    Hi Angela!  I just had my feet done (one at a time) over the past 6 months.  I would, however, go back to the surgeon and have updated x-rays, for sure.  Take really good care of yourself.  Tami

    Maybe allergic reaction to the metal?  Did they use nickle free metal?  Worth getting it checked.
