Post-Covid Globus/Dysphagia

Hope someone might see this, for about 4 weeks I've struggled with swallowing and felt something in the throat behind the Adam's apple.

It started a few days post-covid.

I was eating a moussaka one day and just felt like eating concrete, had to stick my fingers down my throat to clear it.

Then found anything solid would get stuck at the back of my throat.

I'd start to feel the food was piling up in my throat and feel faint like my air was cut off.

A few times I then had a big exhale of spaghetti and meat that hadn't even cleared my throat.

Dr thinks it could be acid reflux but has ordered a gastroscopy.

I feel almost an ulcer near my Adam's Apple that resembles a paper cut at times but is painless mostly. Chest X-Ray was clear.

I often choke on some of it, I get the wheezy tickly chest and can feel it went the wrong way. Anyone had the same scenario?

Thx

James
