Post Hysterectomy bleeding - haemotoma

Hi, I’m 3.5 weeks post op, TLAS hysterectomy and last week started to bleed quite heavily. On Friday (tmi) blood was pouring from me. I panicked, was shaking and very light headed so called the hospital. I saw my consultant the same afternoon and he did an examination. He concluded that I have a haemotoma, despite having no pain, no fever etc and I was prescribed tranexamic acid and augmentin. I’ve nearly finished both pills as only had them for 5 days. I’m worried it may be something else, am I being paranoid? I’ve also got a trapped air/bubble sensation in my vagina. Does anyone have any ideas or experienced the same? Thanks in advance x

I'd suggest you go back to your consultant and request an ultrasound.  Did your consultant request one?  xx

He said to try Tranexamic acid first with Augmentin and then he might request a scan if needed. I’m also having pressure in my bottom. This op has made me absolutely paranoid! Prolapses, haemotomas, gas, wind, on top of everything else! What us women have to go through 😢
