Post Marsupialization Concern

Hi Ladies. I'm hoping for some clarification. I had a marsupialization 4 days ago. I noticed post-op that there is a hard lump there where they lanced it, more below the site toward my butt cheek. It's where I normally can feel a cyst forming before it swells. At first I thought it was just trauma to the area and it would go away, but shouldn't it be going down? I had another marsupialization 5 months back on my other side and every thing just went back to normal, no pain, no swelling. This operation feels a bit more painful in the recovery process. The last thing I want is to have to go back to the hospital 🤦.

    Hi Dani,

    I hope you are feeling well. I had have the same lumpish kinda skin however, i have been advised by my doc that this usually goes down with time. I had a lumpish skin due to the stitches.
