Post menopause concerns

I am 53 and had my last period 2 years ago. This past week I have had some abdonimal discomfort, back pain, 3 migraine headaches, and some slight brown discharge. I had a pap 7 months ago that was normal. I am getting into gyno later today but everything I read comes up scary!

Think positive and don't be scared, I'm going to see my doctor tomorrow as I've been having abdominal pains, bloated, nausea, I'm 49 and my periods are changing as well, some months it's brown discharge and pain and this month it's like a proper period, so I don't know what's happening inside, had a scan last month and GP says it's normal, just need a second opinion. It's scary isn't it?

Hi there I had similar ... Menopause for yr and half then past six months pms like symptoms ... Started to spot with brown discharge then bright red ... Went to GYN she did vag ultrasound and diagnosed me with endometrial hyperplasia and a polyp I have to have a D&C and biopsy ... I'm scared too and to be honest I had to stop reading and googling it was making me a nervous wreck even more so .... I'm still spotting every day but I know it's going to get better. I'm hoping for the best and praying .. Good luck to you let us know how you do

Thank you! I know what you're saying about the googling! I wish you all the best and hope to hear your update soon. I will also post after I find out what is going on. I have been healthy and take care of mysel; this just came out of nowhere, except I will say I have been dealing with what seems to be Fibromyalgia for some years...never diagnosed....and recently, there have been a lot of stressers in my life, every direction I turn, so I need to chill!
