Post Myomectomy ... Period

Hi so, a year ago I began to experience periods for a extended time. I always had heavy periods and they were for 7 days. Around my late 20's and early 30's I started to have extended periods that lasted for 8-12 days. I found that I had pulps and small fibroids (dime size) . I had 2 d&c but the periods became worst and long up to 7 days. I was told to get on lupron by 1 doctor and it made it worst. IMy period never went away.(Literally bled for 400 days) Fed up with the doctor I went to my old doctor (stop going bc change of insurance) and she advised me that I had 5 fibroids, one in my cavity(big as a lime) and 4 marble size on the outside. She told me I needed to get a myomectomy to stop the bleeding. I was extremely nervous and at 38 I still wanted to have children. I spoke to family members who had the operation and had healthy children afterwards after 40.
I had my operation on May 2 and my surgeon said it was a success. No blood transfusion and they found I had 18 fibroids instead of 5 . 3 lime size, some marble and some the size of have of a fingertip. I began healing well scar was thin and beautiful. I was bleeding not heavy after surgery. It then turned to spotting. I went to my post OP appt and the doctor working with my surgeon told me I could have sex by this point it was may 17th. Soon I stop bleeding My other surgeon told me to wait 6 weeks. I didn't. I had sex in the 4 week and the second time I had sex I began to spot rusty color blood that that was may 29 and I had cramps which I hadn't had in a while. So I assume this was the start of my period after the myomectomy. 2nd was still spotting but it turned red and it followed by day 3. Day 4 and 5 got heavier but day 6 I had accident on my bed i freaked out bc i didn't think this was going to happen anymore. day 7, 8 and 9 I've been red light red in the morning and dark red . I only see the blood when I wipe. I'm hoping this period stops . Has anyone else gone through this?
