Post nasal drip question.

so im just wondering if anyone has post nasal drip or/and GERD, what are your symptoms?
im pretty sure i have both. ive had some irritation with my throat recently...and having anxiety im thinking the worse! i took a pic of my back my throat and found what looked like a blister but right on the back wall! i heard this can be due to post nasal drip? ill try and upload a pic. any information will be grateful! im going to see my GP, but was just wondering if anyone experienced same?
my symptoms are:
- occasional dripping back of throat
- occasional clicking in back of throat when talking
- feeling of something stuck in throat
- feels like throat is tight, sometimes.
- feels like a thin piece of paper is stuck on tongue at the very back.
- occasional acid coming up
- stomach pain/burn/bruised feeling
- chest pain and under left rib

Hi Kayleigh , I suffer from these same thing. Do you have nausea too? I have had every test know to man. They all have come back normal. I was put on Zofram and told to take Tums. I was told it either comes from the Medication I am on or comes with my Anxiety.

hi! so you have the same thing back of your throat? i havent seen my doctor yet but will be. its been there about a month, maybe more (but to be honest ive only just started checking my throat). i also get red patched on cheek of my mouth...they come and go.
i always have the feeling of something in my throat and for some reason the sensation is alot to my left. i always force burp! its kind of like a relief or a way of clearing my throat. i sometimes get a random watery nose! it seems all connected. i have health anxiety so of cors im thinking the worse! and google doesnt help.

and no nausea no...but feeling of something in my throat sometimes makes me want to gag? x

Well I have been put on amoxicillin last Friday for inflamed throat and blood in my saliva. The same also happened last October and I went ENT and had a camera put up my nose and down my throat to check larynx and pharynx. Was told by the ENT specialist that even the blood isn't a massive concern as we have loads of tiny blood vessels in our throats and all it takes is one to pop and there'll be blood.
I also have this pain In my left rib/hip/chest and have thought it was alsorts from heart attack to pulminaory embolism. Even now as I type this my left breast area (Im male) feels like it is hurting, I got my doctor to order me a 2nd Chest X-Ray literally 2 weeks ago as I persuaded myself I had enlarged heart. I keep on telling myself my heart is more to the centre but just cant stop thinking something is wrong.
The chest pain I have being told is costochronditis and to use ibuprofen gel externally, I was also taking ibuprofen with omeprazole (being on sertraline means more chance of upper gi bleeding) but have now taken myself off both omeprazole and ibuprofen tablets as I think that makes me bleed.
I also get heartburn/acid reflux often but again doctors are not concerned and haven't or wont put me for any more tests. I think the next test will be an endoscope and I not sure if my anxiety will take that.
Have you been to doctors as you may also have viral infection? Failing that try gargling warm salt water

i havent been to the doctor yet no, i will be tho! ive always had issues with my stomach but the last few months ive been so aware of my throat! not sure if im making it worse. i get the feeling a lump is in my throat and feel the need to burp often to kind of relive it. feels almost like my tongue is swollen at the very back! have you had similar marks on your mouth?

been to my GP. given antibiotics and throat spray. they said they think its an infection that hasn't cleared up. also i have post nasal drip and possible GERD. but i have red patch on my cheek in my mouth....dont think its an ulcer as doesnt look like one its just red. im hoping it all helps!

i have post nasal drip too i also have GERD. my symptoms are constent spitting out mucus or salvia mostly itchy throat dry eyes. i feel like something is stuck in my Esophagus it feels tight and burning sensation down my throat to my stomach and been having pain in my left side rib cage i have chest pain and pain in my left shoulder now im having pain in my head on my. right side i keep going to hospital thinking im having a heart attack just get sent home saying its my GERD so i think GERD is what causes the post nasal drip and the cough and chest tightness and the pains through my body.
