i had my hysterectomy on Wednesday by keyhole was wondering when if dressings should be removed and if by me or someone medical

    Hi Lyn, I had keyhole hysterectomy 5 weeks ago. When I was discharged the nurse told me to remove the dressings on day 2. I took them off on day 3 and everything was fine. The stitches had desolved by day 18.

      Thanks for that . Can you tell me did your mouth and tastebuds feel odd after the surgery and if so how long for

      That will be the anesthetic, it should wear off soon. I drank loads of water to flush all the drugs out of my system. I also sipped on hot fresh lemon water.
