Hi all, now post op (9th june). Diagnosed via transvaginal scan wit complex cyst with clear fluid, thicker fluid, small blood flow and chambers. Had blood markers which normal and ct for staging (so letter said) these all came back ok. Had previous hysterectomy

consent form signed for bilateral ovary removal, cyst removal, then possible lymph gland, momentum and appendix if frozen section came back malignant

during operatin, firstly had loads adhesions from previous op attached to bowel and bladder so that sorted, but actually found an adnexal mass and fluid in the Fallopian tube which had all enlarged and twisted, frozen section fortunately benign, right ovary fine but already discussed having it removed as now aged 50 and don't want to go through this again. So both ovaries out and also some of the omentum which all going off for testing to be on safe side.
