Post op comfort

would a donut pillow help post op for sitting comfort?.  Surgery soon

    Physiotherapist always advised 'no', not to use doughnut rings as no support for pelvic floor x

      I made a cushion with a hole in the middle out of memory foam just in case it helped me after my hysterectomy and anterior op but as soon as I sat on it I realised it was not good as the pelvic floor sagged through the hole.  So no, not recomended, I found level quite firm seats the best and definitely lie down and take the weight off even if your not tired.

    Wasn't something I felt I needed. Prolonged sitting and standing in the early days gave me pelvic pain so I opted for lying down when resting 😉
