I had back pain for the first two weeks (I'm 3 weeks now). I do get a pain up under my right hand ribs but I think that's the way I sit, up against the side of the sofa with cushions on my lap to stop my dogs jumping on me! I can normally stretch it out quite easily though.

I had a cystectomy Friday and I experienced ribs pain and I sometimes still do. I think it's caused by the gas and if you're straining your abdomen a lot. It really sucks when it hurts because it hurts bad!
