Post op pain behind the knee

Hello All,

I am 6 days post op from having a Lapidus and gastroc recession. I am not sure if the pain I am feeling behind my knee is from the gastroc recession, nerve block administered or using a knee scooter to get around or a combination of all three. Has anyone else experienced this after surgery?

    I have not experienced that. Sounds like it probably came from the nerve block?

    i am scheduled to have a Lapidus on the 17th of May. I still am going back and forth between that and an Athrodesis (fusion) of the bunion. Did you have an option? If so why did you choose the Lapidus? How long did they say the recovery would be for you?

      I was not given the option. My doctor stated that with the Lapidus procedure I would have less of a chance for the bunion to return. My recovery will be 10 weeks.
