hi
I'm 12 months post rectocele cystocele repair and sex still kills me. get a good lubricant. my pelvic floor physio recommended Olive and Bee which is really great not sticky like others, but it still really hurts. I try to persist but it's off putting waiting for the pain!

I agree with Kymo4 , a pelvic floor PT is definitely a good idea. I think they should be a standard option for these types of surgeries! I am almost 14 months post sgy and am STILL very sore - but no where near as bad as it had been. I know the stretching done during the PT sessions helped move it along MUCH quicker than it would have on my own. Coconut oil is an excellent lubricant - all natural, doesn't stain, and comes out easily in the wash.
Wish you all the best!
