Post op tonsillectomy

Hello, i had tonsillectomy 29.10.2018, everything went fine until day 5 when i got major bleeding but doctor stopped it in a matter of minutes. I stayed in hospital for 3 days just in case and i did not get any bleeding after that. Today is day 14 and im still having pain in my throat and i have to take pain killer, and yesterday which is day 13 i got fever out of nowhere, and i went to doctor and she prescribed me antibiotic. Now my question is, is it normal to get fever at day 13 or is it something dangerous? And why do i still have a lot of pain in my throat even tho my doctor said it is healing nicely. I am 22 years old. Thanks in advance.
