Post Period Bloating and Digestive Uoset

I have two large fibroids and I am 47 - ever since coming off the birth control pill a year ago my symptoms have gone haywire. My periods are now heavy - but it is after my period and/or ovulation that I don't feel well! More pressure and discomfort in abdomen, painful bloating and gas pains, upset digestion. Lasts for a few days then subsides!

Does anyone else experience this and have found anything that works?
