Post triple neurectomy issues !!!

Hi,
I have been on this site following different mesh removal topics for about 4 years now. In summery, here is my husbands story. In 2015 my husband suddenly noticed an incarcerated inguinal hernia, right side after a gym workout. Two days later = robotic laparoscopic surgery with mesh. One year later = full mesh removal laparoscopic (mesh had folding, attached to bladder), hernia repair (open surgery) with new mesh. Another year after that= open surgery removal of second mesh, no mesh repair, removal of ilioinguinal nerve, the genital branch of the genitofemoral nerve (we think), and the iliohypogastric nerve (which was attached to the mesh and causing great surface pain) from around the mesh site. He still had substantial / same pain in the groin after this surgery, so not sure of the genitofemoral nerve was successfully removed. (yes, he had a pain specialist we were seeing this whole time and multiple nerve shots (that were unsuccessful)).
In 2020, he had two surgery's to try to relieve his nerve pain associated to his hernia site- one to remove polypropyline sutures left in original mesh site he may have been reacting to (they were close to his bladder which he has had continued pain complications with since the mesh was removed but no answers to why). This surgery provided no pain relief. A second surgery was done at UCSF 3 months later to do a second triple neurectomy at the side/trunk. The second triple neurectomy proved unsuccessful at finding the genitofemoral nerve. However two major issues have arisen since this second triple neurectomy.
- The muscles holding the right side of his stomach are no longer holding tight. That is the best way I can explain it. Basically his lower stomach is sticking out/drooping) now on the right side (I should say his is a slim male as well).
- He has pain now that goes down his right thigh (outside) that he did not have before this surgery.
I have unsuccessfully been able to contact his surgeon to get answers as to what went wrong, and his local Dr. basically said that is nerves were cut so the 'net' that holds his stomach fat up is no longer working - hence droopy stomach on one side. I have been trying to find info on what nerve was cut to make his stomach pooch on one side, and what nerve was damaged to cause him new pain down his leg. His groin pain is still there and no doctor so far, physical therapy, or drug seems to be able to make it go away or mask it. My husband does have a pain dr. and we have done so many unsuccessful treatments to alleviate his hernia related nerve pain. Again - oversimplified explanation of his situation and what we have been going through over the past 5 years, but just looking for some help on what went wrong on this last surgery to cause these two new issues. Can they be fixed??? (and yes, the surgeon was qualified and recommended for this - I had no reason to believe this would turn out like this. I am unsure why he has not contacted us - other than COVID has really changed things). Thank you in advance!
