Post up healing from large ovarian cyst removal

1 week ago to i had a 17 x 16 cm ovarian cyst removed urgently along with the ovary and fallopian tube, this was done laparoscopic and was a benign simple cyst, they removed 1.5 liters of fluid and it was so large it was pressing on both kidneys causing them to swell, along with incomplete bladder emptying and digestive problems\stomach pain. I'd like to hear how others have healed from similar experiences. I feel better usually but I are really bad yesterday with fried food and mexican so today I'm having belly pain, any shared was are greatly appreciated and please feel free to ask whatever you like smile

    How are you feeling, Tracy ? Hope you're doing better.

    I'm over several weeks post op and I still don't feel like myself. I need to take stool softeners or else trying to go is painful and I still get sudden pain in my pelvis area (really painful).

    I really haven't had an appetite for these several weeks either. I feel like eating solid foods make me really nauseous and fatigued but liquids, I feel fine. Also getting intermittent flu-like symptoms since surgery but I don't know if it's related.

    Any similar experiences ?
