Post vasectomy pain

Hello.

I have a surgical vasectomy on Nov 30, 2020. The urologist found the left vas deferen and completed that side in 5 minutes. The right side was complicated. Doc couldn't find the vas deferen. He poked and pulled making 5 incisions on the right side eventually having to call in another surgeon. He went on for 3 hours..

My scrotum was larger than a grapefruit for 21 days. I slept on the couch icing all day long.

It had been over 3 months and I'm still in pain. It feels like the spermatic cord is twisted and being pulled into the body. There is a constant ache with occasional sharp electrifying jolts of pain.

I'm still icing today. Had a scrotal ultrasound this morning to help determine more.

Anyone else experience this? Is 3 hours excessive?
