Posterior repair/ perineorraphy post surgery 3 weeks.

Hi,

Last year I had rectopexy, a successful op.

Im 3 weeks 3 days post posterier repair and perineorraphy. Im healing well, slightly uncomfortable but no pain..however sitting down is a no go, should it be?

Is it normal to feel completely exhausted after a few hours? Should I be walking more? My post op gynae appointment is a phone call how's that gonna work?

My vagina, from literally the most awkward angle I can physically view it looks mutilated. Is there anyone there in the same boat? Feeling pretty down, such an isolating subject. Part of me wants to scream over a tannoy "VAGINAAAAAAS AND RECTUUUMS"! But my stitches will be done for.

I had vaginal posterior repair for rectocele 8 days ago, and not only does the vagina look mutilated, but I have weird yellow and orange swellings that protrude out the vaginal opening. I sent the doctor a picture and he had me meet him in the ER and he drained the biggest one but it was just full of blood. He said he had not seen anything like that before so doesn't know what it is but put me on antibiotics in case it is an infection. But, he said it is normal for the area to be all swollen and weird. So, I guess I will just see if the weird swellings eventually resolve or if I need some sort of additional surgery. I don't really have much pain but am mostly staying lied down with some brief walks.
