Postoperative symptoms following Green Light prostate surgery

I just had green light prostate surgery three days ago. The catheter was removed After 24 hours.

I believe the first time I urinated I found some clots in the stream but the flow was actually pretty good. Then with each urination I noticed more frequency urgency and the diameter of the floor becoming less and less to the point that it was a dribble by the end of the first day.

It’s now the morning of the fourth day following surgery and the urgency and dribbling When I try to urinate is pretty much unchanged. The only thing different is I started re-taking AZO and that has helped the bladder spasm a little but when I try to urinate is the same, ie urgency straining to pee very small amount coming out with pain to get things stsrted..

I’ve been afraid to drink too much liquid because I fear that it will make it worse, the other hand maybe I just need to give this time and push the fluids.

I’ve read many of the other blogs here and several other people have had similar complaints and experiences that resolved within a few weeks or longer. However these were posted several l years ago. Is there anyone out there who has recently undergone the green light laser surgery who

had the same kind of symptoms that I’ve had mainly urgency difficulty starting the stream with pain at the end? If so what was your outcome?
