Pot belly

Does anyone no why we get a horrible pot belly that makes us look like we're 'pregnant'. Quite ironic really.

If I didn't have it I'd probably look quite normal sized,it's almost like I'm constantly bloated but don't feel bloated.

Weird.

Or any tips on how to get rid of it?

I am embracing my budda belly. It's not fair, is it? I am in great shape and also have a great figure except for my pot belly. After a certain age, this is where your body puts it's excess fat. I'm 51 and just started with this about 5 years ago. My sister also had it but lost the extra 10-15 lbs that we are all carrying at our age and it went away. So it is possible. I am going to try and lose those very difficult last 10 lbs and hopefully be rid of it. My sister just did more cardio, no special diets or exercises, just burned more calories. Good Luck.

    Hi Candice,

Im 27 and have recently changed my diet,i found that i had a pot belly while i was eating pre made food such as pizzas chips and lots of carbs. I didnt really eat for my body but to fill me up. Maybe you need to look at cutting out bad carbs sugar and eat lots of fresh veg and brown rice / pasta. I hardly ever get a pot belly now smile

Try low GI foods too, hope that was helpful x
