Potential penile cancer: Burning, pain, discoloration, numbness, and deformation of penis glans

Posted , 12 users are following.

This condition has been ongoing for 18 months beginning October 2019. Symptoms have been progressively worsening with time.

To preface. I am diagnosed with HSV. I had 2 outbreaks in 2016, but no symptoms since then.

Medicine Timeline

  • October 2019: prednisone 50mg for 5 days
  • February 2019: prednisone 50mg for 5 days
  • June 2019: Canesten 1% clotrimazole 2x/day for 5 days

Symptoms Timeline

  • October 2019 - March 2020 : glans discoloration
  • March 2020 - July 2020 : glans discoloration + pain in urethra after ejaculation + bumps
  • July 2020 - October 2020 : discoloration + pain in urethra after ejaculation + chronic pain in left side of glans + burning in rectum
  • October 2020 - January 2021 : All preceding symptoms + numbness in right buttock, right hamstring, perineum, right testicle, and glans of penis.
  • January 2021 - present : All preceding symptoms + chronic pain in right side of glans

I have undergone 6 urine tests- all negative. 2 STI tests- all negative.

Discoloration is inconsistent. While erect, discoloration mostly subsides. When flaccid discoloration is more noticeable. Discoloration increases after urination.

Pain and burning is chronic but increases after ejaculation or straining during bowels.

I have seen 1 GP and 2 urologists. the first urologist said there was nothing wrong (evidently wrong). I am currently under the care of a second urologist (since January 2021). She also has no idea what's wrong, but has scheduled me for an MRI and ultrasound.

I am desperate. If anyone has had any symptoms like this before, or has any idea what the diagnosis could be please help.

Thank you in advance

Most of the lesions you point out are normal changes with age. Could it be cancer? Only a biopsy will tell.

As for the burning with urination and ejaculation, list all of the medications and supplements you take, however, I believe this is a neurological issue as evidenced by your numbness and nerve pain so I think you are seeing the wrong specialist and should see a neurologist.

thank you for the input. I appreciate your help. I don't take any supplements, but I've taken two medications regularly for the past year to treat my chronic sinusitis.

      Medication:

      • Sandoz Mometasone.

It's a mometasone furoate nasal spray for chronic sinusitis. Each spray administers a 50mcg dose. 2 sprays per nostril once a day.

      • Pulmicort Nebuamp

Active ingredient budesonide. I mix 0.5mg budesonide + 240ml water + 1 premixed saline solution packet. I rinse each nostril with 120ml of the mixed solution once per day.

Those medications would not cause urethritis so that isn't it.

Do you use lube? I have known several men who used lubricant that was causing them to have urethritis, they stopped and the symptoms resolved.
