POTS

you have 2 sides in you autonomic nervous system that keeps your body going night and day. When you are well you don't notice the.

1) The sympathetic system which is the flight and fight

2) The parasympathetic the rest and digest

3) If these 2 systems are out of balance you start to feel unwell. If the problem lasts only a short time is because you have contacted something. You might have damaged your body or cut your skin. Or you may have had a baby.

4) However IF you have felt unwell for more than 6 months you do NEED to look UP POTS UK

Hi Pam; sorry, I thought POTS stood for Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.....so can't relate it to Fibro/ME....to me it means having a drop in Blood pressure and an Increase in Heart Rate, when sitting/standing up after having been lying down..............maybe that's where we Get our Loss of Balance, after turning too quickly/or when we stand up from having been sitting for too long...............will research more from the Fibro sites..........Bron
