PPD allergy

Has anyone any experience of hair dye allergies like PPD? My eyelids, upper cheeks, scalp and ears have been itching for months and every test I’ve had has been negative. I have a permanent hair dye at the hairdressers every 10 weeks and can identify the itching starting around the same time.  I need to identify the cause of the itching- even my hair touching my face irritates it and life is becoming intolerable! Help!

    I am allergic to many eyes. See if the hairdresser will put some on your skin. Leave it there 3 days with a bandaid on top. If it is the hair dye, you should have a topical reaction on your skin ranging from redness to bumps to blisters. Redness is equivocal. Bumps or blisters.. avoid. It could also be the shampoo or conditioner... stuff they put on your skin to prevent the dye adhering... good luck.
