PR question

My pityriasis rosea rash (unconfirmed by biopsy but my dr says that's what it is) keeps spreading. It's not bad it's mostly on my legs and a few on trunk and arms .. The supposed herald patch is the only one that disappeared. Just wondering is that normal for the herald to disappear first? Especially because I keep finding new spots (I think) .. I've had this for 4 weeks and I'm scared I was misdiagnosed and it's something permanent. But I definitely had a big spot .. My dr thought it was eczema at first now he says it must have been the herald. What do y'all think? Please help my anxiety is killing me over this

I've had PR before in December. I've gotten it again. The last time I had it, as soon as the herald spot closed up, everything disappeared like I never had it. This time, the herald started to go away. Then it started to spread to my left arm and around my trunk area. I didn't get the christmas tree rash this time. Only a few on my legs. Mainly my chest, both arms, panty line and a few spots on my legs. I'm trying to figure out the best way to master this. But the end result is, it just has to run it's course. Stay calm and at some point it will disappear. Let's hope that a solution is found for this.

My herald patch appeared after I gouged my leg while moving. I only have them on my legs and a few on my arms. I'm on week 11 or 12. But it is going away. I still have a faint herald patch. I got 2 batches of spots. the second wave appeared about 4-5 weeks in. It's not uncommon to get more than one herald from what I've read.

My first episode, the herald patch disappeared last. When it closed up, everything went away like it was never there. Just a small scar from where the herald patch was. I just had another attack about one month now. This time the herald patch closed up and I thought I was just going to have it on my hand and chest. When it closed up, that's when it spreaded to my other hand, up both arms, between my legs, a little around the waist line and a little up my butt crack. The first time was the worst. I got the christmas tree on my back, all over my legs, just everywhere. So it is normal. Use the head n sholders as a body wash, along with white dove soap. Get cocoanut oil, A&D ointment, shea butter lotion, oatmeal lotion and petroleum jelly. It has worked wonders. I just started this for 3 days and everywhere is drying up. Oh, make sure you get some sunlight. I really don't do sun and I make it a point to put on as less clothes as possible and let the sun do it's thing. No tanning bed for me, just natural sunlight.

    Good luck

Don't waste your money going to all kinds of doctors. Once I was diagnosed with PR, I've had another attack. There's nothing that they can do. The drs will let you know that it just has to run it's course. My herald spot started real small, then ended up taking over my hold top of my hand and going up my wrist. It will pass, just try to stay calm and don't look at yourself every second. That makes it worst. Stay prayed up. It will pass. See my other comments on what I used, after trying creams, caldomine lotion and whatever else. Head n shoulders, dove soap, cocoanut oil, A&D ointment, oatmeal & shea butter lotion and petroluem lotion has worked wonders for me...... IN JUST 3 DAYS!!! Please try it...Good luck
