PR sucks!

Hi Folks,
I am in my ninth day of the full eruption of my PR, I noticed the Herald patch which is on my left side just under my rib cage about three weeks ago. This is the second time I have had PR, the first time was about six years ago and the outbreak was then only limited to my legs. This time round it is much much worse and is all over my chest, arms, back and my thighs and is as itchy as hell. I am washing every day in head and shoulders and applying E45 afterwards but not really seeing any improvement. I was wondering if anybody can tell me if I should have seen some improvement by now? I am so scared that it will takes months to clear!
Please help

Are you using the E45 for Itchy Skin or the 'plain' version? The stuff for itchy skin is fab.
If I got PR again I would use Eurax cream combined with antihistamines to stop the itching.
H&S didn't work for me at all either.

I am using the plain version of E45, I will try the stuff for itchy skin and the Eurax cream too. I am trying not to get stressed about it, just want to feel like I am doing all that can to rid my shelf of this nightmare rash.
Thanks for your help

I am in week 6 of my rash and how i sympathise with you all. Mine started on my arm and then it exploded all over my body and down my legs.
I have tried every cream you can think of and none of it makes any difference to the appearance or itch.
Yesterday in desperation i booked a sunbed as had looked at all the posts on the web, and last night i did have an itch free night!
This morning my rash looks just as red and angry but am going again today just to see.
I am convinced the rash is attributed to stress as i have alot going on at the moment and its hard to calm down.
To think this might last up to 12 weeks is hell. I wouldnt wish this on anyone.
