      Hi Michelle have you gotten back the biopsy results on the nodule on your thyroid gland yet? Did they have you do a radio active iodine uptake scan on your thyroid as well before the biopsy? I seem to be in a very similar situation that you are in. I had an ultrasound done on my thyroid because my endocrinologist just found a lump on my thyroid and I was having hyperthyroid symptoms anxiety sweating nervousness not being able to sleep . The whole time I thought my symptoms were perimenopause symptoms. The endocrinologist said a nodule on your thyroid or a few nodules like I have can cause complete hormonal imbalance plus the symptoms I have. anyway they want to do a radio active iodine uptake scan first and then do a biopsy after that . Needless to say I'm a little anxious and nervous that's why I was asking if you had the results back from yours as well and to also to see if you had the radio active iodine scan.       Hiya

      No results as yet. I didn't have the radioactive iodine. I'm still waiting for an appointment to go back and see consultant and get results. Apparently the clinic and consultant have a long waiting list so not sure where that leaves me. I'm getting very impatient waiting. I've called them three times!!!!!

      So no wiser as to what happens next.

    please pray for me, i am very bad, i got terrible anxiety, and panic attacks, i am frightened, i dont hardly sleep, thats whats wrong, but then if i do sleep, i wake up shaking heart racing, and feeling doom and gloom, lke i am going to expire, its horrible, this started just over 2 weeks ago, i am afraid now to sleep because of the feelings when i wake, i am heading for a breakdown, please pray for me, my name is angela, thankyou,xx

      Praying for you. I pray that Gods peace which surpasses all understanding to surround you now.

      How long have you been in peri?

      Also get your thyroid checked. It can cause symptoms like this. X

      Hi Angela, I know how you feel.....please try and breathe and get some rest even if you lay on the couch all day. Once you get more rest you will be able to relax a little bit. All of this can be very scary. Go through and read some of the old post and you will see that you are normal. Im praying for you to feel peaceful and that you may get the rest that you need to feel calm.

      Hello michelle, i am feeling better, i am on mirtazipine and am praying to the lord for daily help, i love god and think of him always, thankyou for your kind words and prayers, i hope the panic attacks and anxiety goes away from me, they are so frightening. peace to all of us, amen.

      So glad you are feeling better. I was also on mirtazapine for a year. They did help. I defiantly slept better with them. I've been off them nine months. Hope they continue to help you. God bless X

      thankyou michelle, i am slightly dizzy now and then but thanks to god i havent had a panic attack, i hope the mirtazipine heals my tiredness, i sleep heavily after taking them, my poor body was worn out from lack of rest and sleep, maybe now i will get better when i get the sleep i crave,i know it wont happen overnight, and i am hopeful i wont get a bad reaction to mirtazipine like i did with that dreadful fluoxitine, but i have been told that mirt does not affect you like fluoxitine, so i am hopeful, thanks for prayers and i hope you are well, god bless you, xxxx, and keep in touch.
