Praying and hoping for a baby

Posted , 2 users are following.

I have been with pcos for over a year now. Before that I went a year without a period. I thought every month it would come cause I had always been irregular.  I started to gain so much weight and had many discomfort in my abdomen. I had also had the symptoms of insulin resistance.  I was so depressed and miserable it affected my whole life. I'm now on Metformin and that's all. My Husband and I are trying for a baby. I try so hard to not stress about it or think about it. Let's be real, easier said than done!! It has been almost 3 months no period for me now. I'm going to the doctor in a couple weeks if no period again. Plus I have takin PT and they all have been NEG. All I khan do is just pray and hope for the best. I don't want to give up.

    Hi Tiffany,

I have the same problem my cycles can range from month to month or just like now nearly 3 months. I have 2 children without any help but the age difference is 11 years. My son is nearly 14 and my daughter is 2 and half. I fell pregnant with my son not planned and had terrible cycles. Then for 11 years even though I wasn't trying I wasn't careful. I joined weight watchers in 2011 because I was a bit overweight and I mean practically half a stone. I started eating healthy cut out a lot of sugar and then boom I had regular cycles for 4 months in a row, clockwork. Never happens for me then I fell pregnant. Wasn't trying and it happened. She is now 2 and half and my cycles are back to erratic again. I know that if I ate more carefully and exercised they would probably go more regular. I have read a lot on this forum about how what you eat helps because of the insulin resistance someone even did a dairy free diet and their cycles became regular. Good luck and it's just trying different things such as diet and gentle exercise. I would like another baby so am going to start eating healthy and cutting sugar out again see if I'm lucky.

    Good luck carrie x

Do not stress about the whole baby thing. You do not want to drive your body crazy. I have the same issue with no periods for like 3 months at a time which means I do not ovulate like a normal person but, I got pregnant twice, accidentally. The more you stress and drive yourself crazy, the more likely it will not happen. Just pretend you do not want to get pregnant, and then you probably will haha.

I try really hard to not think about it lol. I do need to eat a little better and I could exercise more as well. Know that it should be getting cooler and kids are in school I can walk. I do have two step children I take care of. That makes me want one of my own even more lol.
