Prediabetes or diabetic?

Hi there

long story short I've been feeling shattered the last while with other symptoms. I rang my GP who said it sounds like diabetes or thyroid issues and has booked me in for bloods next Friday. Out of curiosity I got a blood glucose monitor to test. Two days in a row fasting has been over 8 so that's an indicator of diabetes. The first time I tried post prandial 2 hours it showed 12. Second time post prandial it showed 7 which is normal. Third time testing it showed 7.5 normal again. Fourth time it has showed 8 which is prediabetes.

Bit of a random range of results. Obviously l'll wait and see what blood tests and Dr says but I am curious if i am diabetic or prediabetic?

Can anybody help?
