Prednisolone and Expectorant Linctus

Should there be a time gap between swallowing pred tablets and expectorant linctus - guaifenesin with fructose, flavouring and ?ethanol? base?

    I'm sorry but I don't know the answer. I'm sure someone will be along soon to help. If I'm unsure I find a phone call to the local pharmacist helpful as they are well informed and qualified to advise.

    Don't see why - but isn't OH diabetic? Is the fructose going to be a problem?

      OH not diabetic as such - pred induced erratic blood glucose levels.

      Pack says "sugar free" and leaflet lists small amount of sorbitol and warns if allergic to fructose.
