Prednisolone and fibromyalgia

I have been taking Prednisolone now for 6 weeks now for Fibromyalgia and i have been fine with every thing, but there is one problem i have been having and that is sweating very badly iys like my whole body is like a tap it happens as soon as i get warm or when i am doing housework or even walking the dog.

Does anybody else suffer like this with these tablets please let me know as it doesnt say anything about it in all i have read about them

    I started out taking 80mg of pred a day and unfortunately the hot flushes are part and parcel. I had to buy a very large fan because I couldn't move without sweating. The good news is that as the dosage is lowered so are the effects. I hope your treatment goes well :D [/i]

    Yes, I think it is normal. I had the same problem and heaps more. nevertheless the sweating got better after a while.

    Yes I too sweated profusely while on prednisone, it has reduced quite a bit now after being off of prednisone for 8 months.
