Has anyone developed a pain in their left side, due to the use of prednisone or tapering down from prednisone?
Iam down from taking 20mg to now taking 15mg a day.

I have a pain in my right side! I don't know if it is pred, PMR or something else. The pain starts like a stitch but it is more towards the back and comes on when I have done enough. Which isn't a lot these days. I did mention it to my GP last week but he more or less shrugged his shoulders. It lets up if I take painkillers so I assume it's not PMR. I am on 9mg pred at the moment reducing dsns to 8.

Not at those sort of levels no - at very low doses people sometimes have pain due to adrenal insufficiency. It's much more likely you have pulled a muscle - easily done when on pred as it makes muscles rather more delicate.
