Prednisone quit no taper after a year on 10 mg

I quit taking prednisone cold turkey. Its been 10 days and although I feel tired, I don't have any symptoms other than tired and no appetite. I eat two small meals 3 drinks daily. Just wondering when the withdraw starts, because I am not seeing why everyone is freaking out about side effects. Shouldn't I be having them by now and if not am I good to go? I think if I make it a month I should be fine. Anyone else try this successfully?
