Prednisone side effects (how long tho)

Hey so I took 20mg of prednisone for 3 days and now I am off of it but RIDICULOUS achey everywhere, bloated as hell, agitated, and my fingers are swelling. Is this normal?? WHEN DOES THIS END?? Thanks

    I did a five day of 10mg. Felt good while on, but took me a week to get feeling normal again. Hang in there.

    Generally speaking, the swelling, agitation, bloating will come down a bit every day.  Keep your sodium at appropriate levels.  That too will help.  It's tough but soon enough you will look and feel like you used to feel.  I had 40 mg for one day, then 20 for two days, and now equivalent of 5 mg prednisone daily and I am seeing the swelling go in the last few days.

    Hand in there.  Remember, you are not alone and there is lots of support here.  Have a nice weekend.
