Pregublin withdrawal

Do not suddenly stop taking pregublin believe me! I was stopped 75 mg which I was on for 5 years I was happy to stop it but the withdrawals are hell ! Knots and pains in your muscles worse than any flu severe insomnia anxiety headache woozy head absolute hell I ended up on the phone to nhs direct where I was told you should be weaned to 50 then 25 then 10 I went through hell for 10 days my dr has now put me back on it where I was so so poorly living on 3 and a half hours of sleep a night I am posting this so that other people will be aware that pregublin must be stopped slowly over time do not let your doctor stop you abruptly!!!!     Hi Sam59632, how long have you now been off pregabalin, and do you still have WD's and what they are.

    I was on this drug for two and a half weeks and still have WD's 111 weeks after stopping the drug.

    hi sam . very good point to all taking pregabalin .(i think you mean)  there are issues with the medication in tapering off it.  sometimes we have to look at what benefits the medication has on the  patient and the bad ones. but you explain it well. thanks sam.

    I too withdrew from 200mg to 100mg and it was torture. Took about 1-2mths to get back to some normality
