Prescribed the wrong HRT for a year!

Hi my name is Julia I am 54. I came across this website through an older post that i found on here.

I have just found out that I have been given the oestrogen only HRT patches for a year , when I should have been prescribed the combined oestrogen and progesterone as i still have my womb. I now have an appointment with gynaecology to have a biopsy as there is a risk of womb cancer.

Has anyone else had this problem?

How great are the risks?

Are there any statistics?

Do the risks increase in time?

Any information or links would be most welcome as I have found virtually nothing online.
