Does anyone else feel like they are going to give themselves more hemorrhoids than what they started with?!? Can't seem to (sorry, tmi) open my anus to let the BM come out. Now I'm worried about stenosis. Stools, when I manage to get them out are soft with all the damn fiber I'm taking. Vent over. Have a follow up tomorrow.

One thing that should be noted is that because you have undergone surgery, your body is preventing you from applying excessive force during BM. Also there may be swelling and making the opening narrow. Wait for some time.

Feeling of getting haemorrhoids is but natural. But it takes long time to aggravate the veins. By such time you may be Well.

After recovery take care of yourself.

You will get better as time passes. Perhaps there may be excessive gas passing while BM. This may be due to laxative. Refer to your doctor.

Thank you. All that you said makes perfect sense. I'm just so frustrated over this process that was told was 1-2 day recovery. I keep forgetting to have patience. Even though it's already been a week exactly. Thank you.

Tomorrow marks 2 weeks since my surgery and I feel fine in myself and thought I was getting so much better but today has been painful and still feeling full after a bowel movement so it give you that aching feeling and I know I need to go but it won’t come out I’m scared they will come back because I know one hundred percent I would never ever have this surgery again you would have to pay me. I had a feel earlier and it’s still all swollen and hard in between my vagina and anus and I’ve got a little skin tag and like sore lump just right at the bottom of my bum so hoping this will all go down I’m using uniroid cream the doctor gave me to reduce swelling and it’s got anaesthetic in but can’t tell the difference. I’m due back at work on Thursday but my doctor has issued me another 10 days till Easter as I already have another 2 weeks holiday booked...This is such a rollercoaster of emotions and healing and they need to tell people this because you need more time to heal and recover...

Thank you for sharing. I feel the exact same way. I would never have this again. And you definitely need more time to heal. It's crazy how it is expected for a person to return to normal activity in 1-2 weeks. Maybe we are the odd ones.
