Pressure (heavy) head, balance issues, cognitive problems, widespread swollen lymphnodes

My husband has been dealing with the symptoms in the title for going on 4 years he is getting worse. when it started (age 66) he started w an ear nose and throat dr did the epley maneuver. Did not help. not dizzy but severe balance issues (worse in dark, narrow areas or places like a store). He has seen a regular neurologist and also one at John's Hopkins that specializes in balance. NO diagnosis.

He has had CT and MRI of brain (w and without contrast) Also a biopsy of lymphnode (not cancer) NO dr has wanted to explore other causes of the widespread enlarged lymphnodes .

He has also had other testing and blood tests.

The following have thankfully been ruled out:

lymphoma

brain cancer

parkinsons

lyme disease and all the tick born diseases

meniere's disease

So sad and frustrated. I don' t know where to turn next for help. Which type of doctor to seek. We have spent many many hours and many hundreds of dollars to find an answer.

Have any of you experienced these symptoms, gotten a diagnosis? Found any help or answers?

I would be so appreciative of any guidance.

Many thanks.

I was fine one day, put on beta blockers the next day for a heart condition, turned into a "drunk Zombie" overnight.

I came off the beta blockers two and a half years ago, but they have done something permanent to me and I don't know what it is.

I have the cognitive problems and the balance issues. The balance issues don't make me dizzy or feel sick, but its as if my balance no longer works, especially if I move my head up or around quick, people assume I am drunk by my gait and the way my speech becomes slurred as the day goes on.

I notice it gets worst if I eat, so now I only eat just before I lay down for bed, and I also notice it gets worst if there is a lot of visual stimulation, such as yesterday I went to a classic motorbike show, so many bikes to look at that it seems I don't have enough energy in my brain for it all.

I did develop other neurological symptoms as well such as Peripheral neuropathy.

My fear is that one of the things beta blockers did to me was make me feel as if my lungs were not working and I would forget to breathe. A Oximeter, even the hospital one, showed my blood oxygen would spend half the night at 85%, so I worry if lack of oxygenated blood has damaged my nervous system?
