Pressure sore tailbone

I thought my pressure sore had started to heal and the Nurse said it had but I woke up this morning to an itch on it that is starting to drive me mad and it hurts. It is only very small and not infected. Prescribed Lidocaine and a barrier cream and I have tried Lanacane for the itch but it does not help. Can anyone please suggest a topical cream that might at least reduce the itch? I cannot even shower or have a Sitz bath because these irritate the problem. So I use saline wipes as instructed by the Nurse. She said to dry the area, which I do, but then apply all the cream which makes it wet! Any help is welcome.
