Yes, definitely. You can actually reverse diabetes through fasting or strict dieting. As 80% of the immune system is located in the gut, eating plenty of fermented foods, taking probiotics, eating fruit, veg, nuts, seeds, would present a healthy immune system. When your digestion is healthy, your body and mind are as well.

I have had this exact discussion with my GP, even though I am overweight my cholesterol is very low, he told me he is frustrated with me, as his cholesterol is higher than mine, and he's as skinny as a rake, and there is no way you could describe me as a rake.
?He then went on to ask me what longevity is like in my family, I always have a chuckle when I'm asked this, when I told him most of my ancestors have lived into their 90's, I have done family history research so I know this going back into the early 1800's, he laughed and said you will outlive me even though you have health issues.
?My family have bad arthiritis, generational, all I can say is thankgod for hip replacements, I have both hips replaced, and specialist told me they would see me out, unless you live to be very old, I laughed at him and said see you in twenty years time, he did a double take, and once more I had to explain to him about my oldest family member I know of uncle Bill died aged 97 about 2 years ago, with double hip replacement in his past as well.
