Private messaging!

I have lost the little envelope under my name which enables private messages.  I've checked the settings and ticked to allow pm but it hasn't re-appeared.  Have also ticked 'save'.  Help!

Hi Constance I think you only have the envelope under your name if someone else replies to your thread because you cannot private message yourself. I think that's right! Regards, tina

The pm envelope is under your name, I can see it. So, if someone wants to pm you, they can. As I look at my own icon, there is no envelope, so that makes sense.

Thanks Susanne.  Feel quite a twit! 😒😒

My daughter is called Suzanne.  Do you get Sue, Suzi, too?

Don't feel like a twit, we all do it sometimes! Yesterday, I went in the cupboard to get my pegbag to hang out the washing and walked out in the garden with the dustpan and brush! I had to laugh at myself!

Yes, I'm known as many variations of my name!

Yes, we need some laughs again.  How about it friends?  Any senior moments to report.  I know you aren't all 'senior', but you will have had 'moments'.

My latest one:  bought a really nice piece of beef to roast yesterday, only to get home and find I'd bought practically the same joint 3 days earlier!!!!

Susanne, not PMR related, but I remember when I was a child my mother put the cat litter tray in the fridge and the butter on top of the coal bunker in the garden! Regards, tina

Yes and she only noticed when the cats were on the coal bunker licking the butter that had melted! Also if I remember she had actually opened the fridge several times getting food and drink out whilst right in front of her on the top shelf was the cat litter tray! Ah, memories of my lovely wonderful mother. Regards, tina
