Private prescription of Roaccutane

Posted , 2 users are following.

Morning all,

I have privately being seeing a dermotoligist who has put me on Roaccutane. After one month initial trial I am about to get a course of 6 months however the cost privately is roughly £600 (weigh 95kg's). I was wondering does anyone know of online pharmacies which provide cheaper options then just going to my local boots?

Thanks J

    Hi

Not tried roaccutane but if i were u id try to get it from a known chemist than anywhere online. Just to be safe. There are made peop out there who might supply u with something dodgy. Try lloyds or find a local chemist or tesco. If not ask your doc if u can get your meds on 2 prescription forms becsuse u cant pay the full amount all in one go. I found this made it easier to get 1st lot quickly And shop around more for the other one. Also try Harley medical northampton for Obagi blue skin peel. Super expensive but another option

Ps also try getting referral in nhs to specialist or try another GP. You may not have so much to pay.

Also wish someone told me when my acne was blazing....drink copius amounts of fresh water and reduce bread. Try for 1 mth even water alone. it will definitly help speed up healing if spots. Also try magnesium sulphate on bad ones and cover with a Mepore dressing. Proper angry painful spots get less sensitive by morning and drier. The mepore dressing wont shift until your shower but stick one on your tummy first as a test. Just in case you end up with a allergic square shape on ur face.

Thanks for the comments. The best value I can find in London is Tesco Pharmacy at 79p per tablet on a private persepcription. This was Boots in central London for example charge £1.19.

    Good luck all
