Probiotics recommendations

Posted , 6 users are following.

After 4 clear years I have had a flare up of proctitis. Been on predfoam for last two weeks not getting better or worse. For the first time with this flare up I am expreriencing aches and pains in lower back, legs and toes (of all places). Do others experience similar?

i understand probiotics can help - does anybody have any recommendations?

Your feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

    Hi steve,

So very sorry to hear you're experiencing these unwanted symptoms.

I hope this reply won't get blocked, but spend a few minutes online to research 'Symprove'. It does work for some people, but to be brutally honest, it didn't do much if anything for me, unfortunately.

    See what you think.

All good wishes for a speedy return to better health.

Yes, for sure.I have all kinds of pain in my legs and back. In my case, I have UC of the rectum as well as you, but I also have colitis through out my entire colon. Possible small bowel involvment as well, so I have the disease on a large scale, but that doesn't always matter when it comes to other side effects of the disease. It can cause all sorts of issues, so hang in there and maybe you will need oral steroids as well as foam. I am on 10mg prednisone and the cortisone foam and still no relief. The next step is going on Entyvio. I hope it works.

    Hi Steve

Have you tried BUDENOFALK. It worked for me within a few days.

Budenofaulk foam worked for me. It is an immun suppressant and quite powerful. Once symptoms stopped I stopped using it until next flare up.
